Hello everyone,
"Sos lada Hitam" in Indonesia "Sauce au poivre" in France, this sauce is used all over the world from Europe to China , and of course its recipe variate from country to country. This recipe uses ingredients and techniques from various places in order to create a unique black pepper sauce. Hope you'll enjoy it.

A classic sauce that you can find everywhere in the world.
Ingredients:
250 ml water
1 garlic clove
1 small onion
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2-4 pinches of pepper
oil
Preparation:
- Peel your onion and garlic clove before blending them in a paste.
- In a bit of oil fry your garlic / onion paste until the color change. Then add the flour and keep frying until the mixture gets lightly brown.
- Add the water and the rest of the ingredients and keep cooking until the sauce thicken.
- Taste and rectify with the pepper and the soy sauce.

Uses:
Great with some beef, can also be used with chicken, pork, venison if you can get your hands on some or plain vegetables.
Variations:
In France we would rather use cream in such sauce, feel free to replace the flour with it if you wish.
You may use more or less pepper depending on the wanted taste; 2 pinches makes a light peppery taste; add more to your taste.
