Chinese style fried fish express

Hello everyone,

I haven't done any Chinese food so far, didn't think about it. But every week my wife and I are wondering what we should cook, and this week I just happen to see a guy frying and cooking a fish Chinese style, in a TV show, and it reminded me that Chinese food is delicious too and should be given the same attention as the other kinds of cuisine. And therefore I decided to cook a fish in a Chinese fashion.

Price: Cheap

A simple sweet and salty fish recipe with an Asian scent.

Ingredients:

For 2 people
1 garlic clove
2 white fish filet
2 spring onions (I only used one and it wasn't enough)
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 pinch ginger powder (or 5 cm of fresh ginger)
oil

Preparation:

    Step 2
  1. Mince the garlic clove and the spring onion.

  2. Brown the garlic in some oil in a non adhesive pan. CAREFUL to use a non adhesive cooking tool so the fish won't stick to the bottom and turn into a mess.

  3. Add the fish filet and fry them until coloration on both sides.

  4. Step 5
  5. Add the minced spring onions and color them a bit too.

  6. On the side mix the soy sauce, the water, the ginger powder and the sugar before pouring it in the pan. Keep cooking until the sauce thicken.

  7. Rectify to taste with sugar or soy sauce whether you find the dish too salt or too sweet.

  8. Serve with white rice
